Christmas is my favourite time of year and to top it all I have my own Christmas Star to spread some festive joy. For those of you who haven't been introduced to my horse, Star, I thought I would send you a photo. As you can see he wasn't too impressed with his reindeer antlers which were unceremoniously dumped on the floor after the photo was taken. Star joined my family over 10 years ago and when I'm not in my Pilates gear, I'm well wrapped up against the cold in my thermals and riding boots spending time with my favourite furry friend!! Horses have been part of my life since I first learned to ride at the ripe old age of four. I qualified as a riding instructor in my early 20s and spent every weekend teaching at my local riding school. One of the reasons why I wanted to learn Pilates was because it helps with posture and balance when riding. It also shows up areas of weakness and inflexibilty in your body which can affect your position in the saddle. So, if you're feeling cold or lonely this Christmas, Star is the best at giving cuddles and like Santa's reindeers, a few carrots wouldn't go a miss! I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and thank you for your support over the last 12 months. I hope to see you in my Pilates classes next year. SEASONS GREETINGS TO YOU ALL
