Kate explained that she had developed a passion for tap dancing from a young age, but when her acting career took off, she was unable to continue. She reflected that not only did she miss dancing, but her body also lost flexibility and fitness as a result. Now in her late 40s, Kate has an on-and-off relationship with exercise, mainly due to family and filming commitments. However, she has realised that staying fit and strong reduces her chance of injury, helps with her mental health, gives her more energy, and, most importantly, means that she can carry her own luggage!! Kate’s attitude resonates with me. Maintaining functional fitness allows us to live an active life and avoid the difficulties that come with limited mobility. I’m always telling my clients to stay active. It doesn’t matter if it is a walk around the block, carrying your shopping, climbing the stairs or doing a Pilates class. The more you do, the more you can do and the less limitations you will feel on your body and your life!
Booking online is quick and easy. You can select whichever class suits your schedule and then complete the enrolment form. Don't forget to register an account so you only have to complete the form once and then managing your classes will be simple. You will also receive an automated reminder 48 hours before the start of your class.
However, if you'd like to have a chat with me first, please drop me a line and we can discuss what sort of class would be best for you. I look forward to speaking to you soon.
